EverFi and LawRoom Join Forces

As a trusted LawRoom customer, we wanted to share with you some incredibly exciting news.

Today we are announcing our merger with EverFi, the leading education technology company focused on critical skills digital learning for the Enterprise, Higher Education and K-12 markets.

As a valued LawRoom customer, we are thrilled that this bringing together of two education leaders will continue to ensure you and your employees have access not only to our legal experts and engaging and proven compliance training experience, but provide the cutting edge skills and topics that the next generation employee needs to be successful.

Our coming together will both accelerate this expansion of our LawRoom platform and course offerings, as well as allow us to reach a more global audience with our award-winning compliance training expertise.

In the short term, we will continue to serve you in the high quality manner you have come to always expect from LawRoom.  We look forward to sharing our next wave of compliance courses and learning platform updates in the next several weeks.

Why is EverFi acquiring LawRoom?

EverFi, Inc. is the education technology leader that empowers K-12, higher education and adult learners with the skills that prepare them to be successful in life and work. LawRoom and EverFi are committed to providing best-in-class compliance training. EverFi’s commitment to offering financial literacy and wellness education dovetails with the types of topics and skills for which you have come to depend on LawRoom. Our ongoing mission is to reach an even larger audience with tools and training for employee compliance and education.

Does this news mean that the course(s) my company currently implements are going away?

For the 2016 calendar year, all EverFi and LawRoom programs will remain exactly the same. Our goal has always been to provide the best online learning platforms for our partners and their employees, and we will continue to do so. With that, we will be reviewing all of our programs to ensure that we’re offering the best of what EverFi and LawRoom have developed and allowing your company or organization to benefit from our suite of top of the line compliance measures.

What does this mean for the the remainder of 2016?

Everything will remain in its current state for the remainder of 2016.  However, we’ll now be able to offer an even broader set of tools and resources to help further your compliance training and employee education efforts.

Does this mean my company has to use different courses?

Your company will not be required to use different courses for 2016. You will use the courses that you had intended to use, planned for, and communicated about to employees. We will be exploring course options for future years and will provide more detail on what our future course offerings will be throughout 2016 and into 2017.

Does this mean my company CAN use different courses?

For 2016, your company will continue to utilize the courses in which you have already invested. However, we’d be happy to talk to you and your colleagues about implementing additional courses that were previously only available through EverFi or LawRoom.  We look forward to helping you find the best compliance initiatives for your company.

Does this mean my company has to use a different platform?

Your company will not be using a different platform during the 2016. You will continue to use the LawRoom Admin Toolbox and its full range of functionality. We will be reviewing both EverFi’s and LawRoom’s platforms, and in the future may make updates to continue to provide a user-friendly administrative experience.

Does this mean that my company will be assigned to a new person to manage our account?

The merger between EverFi and LawRoom should not impact your relationship with your current EverFi or LawRoom point of contact in the short term. As we work to combine the teams, your main point of contact may change down the line, but we will ensure that you are made aware of any changes and that all important details of your account are communicated internally to ensure a smooth transition.

How will this impact the employee and administrator experience in the short term?

There will be no immediate impact. However, we will be reviewing all EverFi and LawRoom programs and platforms to ensure we are providing our partners with the best we have to offer moving forward.

Will the level of service I have grown to expect change now that you’ll have so many more customers?

We pride ourselves in the level of service we provide to our partners, and we value the deep relationships we’ve built with individuals and company/organizational partners over the years. We are committed to maintaining the level of service you have grown to expect and to continuing to grow the relationships we have built.  As we update and refine our approach, we will explore ways to continue to empower our partners to leverage the most from the resources that are provided to them as a part of their partnership with us.
